Meet & Greet with Abbey Robertson

I’m incredibly excited and honored to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of the Corsicana & Navarro County Chamber of Commerce!

My professional background has centered around sales, customer relationships, business development, and community involvement. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that one of the things I enjoy most is connecting with people, learning what they need, and finding ways to help them succeed. I’m also someone who loves a challenge—I tend to dive in, learn as much as I can, and figure out how to make things better.

I’m especially excited about this opportunity because I believe a strong business community is built on strong relationships. My goal is to make the Chamber a place where business owners feel supported, connected, and valued—whether they’ve been in Navarro County for generations or are brand new to the community. I want to hear from our members (and non-members), learn what is important to them, and continue finding both meaningful and helpful ways the Chamber can serve and connect with our local businesses.

My husband is a Corsicana native, and after living in Charleston, South Carolina, we relocated to the area in 2019. We have three daughters, two dogs, and a cat, so our house is rarely quiet! Our girls keep us busy with dance, cheer, theater, and cross country, and we love supporting them in everything they’re involved in. Our family attends Grace Community Church, and one of the things we value most is the idea that it truly takes a village—not only to raise our children, but to build a stronger community. We believe that when people show up for one another, get involved, and invest in the place they call home, everyone benefits.
