About Us

PHI Air Medical is one of the nation’s largest emergency air medical transport providers. We operate over 65 flight bases across the United States and serve over 30,000 patients each year.

Each PHI Air Medical base is operated by experienced and highly trained pilots, mechanics, flight nurses and paramedics. All PHI aircraft are equipped with life-saving equipment and medical supplies to help support the critical care needs of our patients.

PHI Cares is our air ambulance membership program. Membership covers all of the out-of-pocket expenses of a life flight when a member is flown by PHI or one of our partners from the scene of an emergency or from one hospital to another, and it covers the entire household, regardless of age or insurance status.
